Kimonos
Historically, kimonos were made from single bolts of cloths, approx 36 cm wide and 11 meters long, which would be cut into seven straight pieces.
They are T-shaped, straight-lined robes worn so that the hem falls to the ankle, with attached collars and long, wide sleeves.
Your Kisshoten kimono will arrive wrapped in one of our luxurious customised hand-finished boxes, lined with traditional washi paper from Japan.
Ready to gift in any season!
We will shortly be offering an alteration service but this can be done by any professional seamstress as the Kimonos are hand sewn.
